Ebara Great Pumps Co., Ltd. held a grand celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the company

In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ebara Great Pumps Co., Ltd. and witness the growth footprints of the company in the past 20 years, and to be grateful to the customers and partners who have been giving support and trust to the company, the 20th anniversary of EGP was held on May 20-21, 2023, which was a grand celebration.

The anniversary celebration included four parts: a forum on cutting-edge technology of pumps for hydrogen energy, an appreciation dinner, a tour of the park and a forum on technology related to fertilizer pumps, focusing on showing guests the company's achievements over the past 20 years and its future development plans.

On the afternoon of May 20, the forum on cutting-edge technology for hydrogen pumps was held at Shangri-La Hotel, with Mr. Teruaki Tsukamoto, Project Manager of CP Hydrogen Business in Ebara Corporation, as keynote speaker. Mr. Tsukamoto introduced Ebara Group's achievements in hydrogen-related business with development and application of pumps for hydrogen energy, focusing on expansion of hydrogen-related business. The technical forum attracted about 150 guests with feedbacks that they had benefited a lot from this forum and expressed their expectations for Ebara Group's future prospects in the hydrogen energy market.

"We use pumps as painting brushes and draw a beautiful blueprint for mankind development", with the hologram "Salute to the Pumps" slowly unfolding, in the passionate music and dancers' powerful dance, a history of pump development on the curtain speedily scratched, showing the pace of EGP's advancement since the joint venture. At 6:00 PM, EGP 20th Anniversary Dinner was officially opened!

First of all, Mr. Toichi Maeda, representative of Ebara Corporation, and Mr. Li Guobin, chairman of board directors of EGP, delivered speeches on the stage, and expressed their heartfelt thanks to domestic and overseas customers and suppliers, guests, and EGP employees, who attended the ceremony. Mr. Maeda expressed his expectations for EGP on behalf of one of the key members of Energy Business Unit in Ebara Corporation, and said that EGP would respond more actively to the needs and challenges of market and customers by combining the valuable experience and competitive advantages it has been accumulating over past 20 years. As the founder, witness and participant of EGP, Mr. Li had extremely deep feelings for EGP, and thanked EGP fellows for their unremitting efforts and all the guests for their strong support. Looking ahead, Mr. Li expected EGP to continue to work together with domestic and overseas partners to write a new chapter of cooperation among China, Japan and United States, and to contribute EGP's wisdom and strength to the revitalization of the local economy and the development of the global petrochemical industry, as well as to world peace!

'Heaven rewards hard work, and forceful plowing does not deceive!' Mr. Tu Bicheng, the president of the company, took the stage and delivered a speech, expressing his gratitude for the trust and strong support from many parties, such as customers, design institutes, supplier partners, affiliated companies, universities and financial institutions. Mr. Tu made a brief report on the company's development and performance boost in past 20 years, and shared with the guests the gratifying honors achieved at present. Only when the heart has faith, can we achieve far-reaching results! Mr. Tu expected the 20th anniversary as a new starting point for EGP, and all EGP people would continue to provide high-quality products and efficient services to our customers for the sake of a better tomorrow, and to move forward with determination with a solid cultural background!

Afterwards, as a firm partner of EGP, Mr. Wu Yanzhi, Deputy General Manager of Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Company Limited, as a representative of the customer, delivered a speech on the stage. Over the past six years, EGP has provided nearly 3,000 sets of high-quality products for Hengli's projects, and both product quality and after-sales service have been highly recognized by Hengli Petrochemical. Mr. Wu said, "EGP is an excellent enterprise worthy of long-term cooperation, and has been interpreting 'making products with the heart of making artwork' with its actions, we will continue to work together and share the joy of success!"

At the celebration site, Mr. Yuichiro Mori, Deputy Consul General of Japan in Shanghai, also sent his blessings to EGP for the gratifying achievement of the 20th anniversary of the joint venture and expressed his gratitude to EGP for actively promoting the friendship between China and Japan.

In addition, we received congratulatory letters from Mr. Huang Li, President of China General Machinery Industry Association, Mr. Sui Yongbin, Chief Engineer of China General Machinery Industry Association, as well as industry leaders and partners such as LihuayiGroup Co., Ltd. and Fujian United Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. and a poem from Mr. Qian Jianmin, former leader of Rui'an City, which we will surely live up to the expectation of achieving even greater achievements on the road of innovation and development!

Finally, Mr. Takayanobu Miyagi, President of Ebara Energy Company and Chairman of EGP, came on stage to give a toast. Dr. Wang Xiongying, a senior technical expert of the company's Enterprise Research Institute, shared his views on urea pumps for fertilizer engineering - Ebara liquid ammonia pumps and methyl ammonium pumps. Dr. Wang introduced in detail the structural characteristics and advantages of liquid ammonia pump and methyl ammonium pump, and exchanged views with the guests on the actual use of the products and application prospects.
