Longhu Financial Island, the "new business card" of Zhengzhou city, is located in the main zone constructed in the internationalized Regional Financial Center of Zhengdong New Area, with international 5A standard design of financial office buildings, urban ecological landscape, as well as cultural and architectural design, and it meets the standards of domestic green building and US LEED gold level building.
Financial Island is surrounded by 20 60-meter-high financial office buildings in the inner ring and 20 100-meter-high financial office buildings in the outer ring, as well as 2 super-high-rise buildings and 4 cultural buildings. The heating network has been warmed up to 50℃ since November 15, and has been officially heated for one month.

Zhengdong New Area Longhu Financial Center adopts regional energy station centralized cooling and heating. The total building surface of the traffic circle 3,961,000 square meters, heating building area of about 2,790,000 square meters, has been achieved heating area of 300,000 square meters, the heating period from November this year to March next year, the energy station using water clean energy heating: the use of recycled water from Matougang wastewater treatment plant as source of heating and cooling achieves a truly zero pollution, zero emissions, and low energy consumption.
It is understood that the Longhu Financial Island Energy Station project includes three energy stations and in-island pipeline network supporting heating, cooling and recycled water, with a total installed capacity of 203,634kW of heating, and a total installed capacity of 57,900RT of refrigeration, which can meet the island's heating and cooling needs, and provide 24-hour protection on the supply of heating and cooling for users in the island (the energy station plans to utilize 21 sets of RTGC series centrifugal heat pumps manufactured by Ebara, and so far 15 sets have been supplied and in use). Utilizing clean renewable energy for heating and cooling supply is a true "super air conditioner".
The elimination of cooling towers scattered on the roof of the building has greatly improved the quality of the building and the environment of the area, as well as saving costs for users. Compared with traditional decentralized energy supply, the use of recycled water for energy supply can save 70% of air-conditioning power distribution and 80% of air-conditioning machine room area. After full operation of these three energy stations on Longhu Financial Island, the power consumption of air conditioners can be reduced by about 38.73 million kWh, about 15,000 tons of standard coal, and about 39,000 tons of carbon dioxide compared with the conventional way of energy supply.
Ebara centrifugal units were selected for the Longhu Financial Island Energy Station project, which is another mega-energy station where Ebara centrifugal heat pump units have been put into operation, following Beijing Daxing Airport Energy Station (centrifugal units for refrigeration+heat pumps+ice storage in three working conditions) and Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Energy Station (river water source heat pumps).
