Actively pursuing green development to support China's Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Goals
Recently, Ebara Machinery Zibo Co., Ltd. and Ebara Refrigeration Equipment & Systems (China) Co., Ltd., 2 of Ebara Group Companies in China, have successfully obtained “Green Factory” certifications from Shandong Province and Yantai City respectively. This achievement demonstrates Ebara Group's solid progress in establishing a green manufacturing system and pursuing sustainable development and also showcasing enterprise commitment to actively responding to national initiatives for energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green transformation.
Deepening green transition and build a high-efficiency and clean production system
To support the national strategy of “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality,” Ebara Group continues to increase its investment in environmental protection and energy conservation. The two companies recognized this time have been focusing on technological innovation, comprehensively optimizing production processes, driving intelligent equipment and digital upgrade, and promoting the low-carbon transformation of energy structures. These efforts have significantly reduced energy consumption per unit of output and carbon emissions, achieving simultaneous improvements in resource utilization efficiency and environmental management performance.

As of now, Ebara Group has been certified in China with 1 national-level green factory, 1 provincial-level green factory, and 1 municipal-level green factory.
