Ebara Shanghai Precision Machinery Co., Ltd (referred to as SEPM below) held kickoff ceremony of its training center on May 9, 2024.
As the semiconductor market in China is growing, Ebara has adjusted its response positively to provide better service to customers in the Greater China region.
The investment of this construction sums up to 765 million yen, with a total area of 768 square meters of location at 28 Taiqiao Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It is expected to open to customers and internal employees in Greater China in early September.
The training center will install Ebara's most cutting-edge CMP device, F-REX300X, and set up training courses based on this platform. The center will be able to meet customer needs to learn about machine operation and daily maintenance, as well as to improve technical level of our employees. It is expected to provide strong support for improving company's service expertise in the future.
Mr. Osato Hideo, President of SEPM, and related management members attended this kickoff ceremony and witnessed the important moment for a new chapter of SEPM.
Mr. Osato delivered a speech at the kickoff ceremony, in which he first thanked the guests and staff who attended the ceremony. Secondly, he emphasized the importance of this training center for the development of Ebara's business in China - both to meet the training needs of customers, and to the company's internal staff to acquire and grow their technical skills. And also, he expressed his commitment to working with project members to gather wisdom and continually advance innovation.
Mr. Gao Rende, the representative of the contractor of the training center construction project, also attended the kickoff ceremony. He expressed his best wishes to SEPM and mentioned he would make sure that the project could be completed efficiently and satisfactorily and strictly secure the compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
In addition, a ribbon-cutting section took place at the site of the kickoff ceremony. In order to wish for a smooth start of the construction, the site personnel stepped into the interior of the building together, picked up a golden hammer and made a firm hit.
Finally, the whole kickoff ceremony was successfully concluded with a group photo of all the management members and staff who participated in the ceremony.
With the construction project golive and operation of this training center, Ebara will be able to provide customers in China with even better product services and training services. Ebara is always looking forward to contributing to the development of high-tech industry in China.
