The energy company of Ebara Corporation (hereinafter "Ebara") – Ebara Elliott Energy (hereinafter "EEE"), has received an order for liquid hydrogen pumps for airport infrastructure from Chart Ferox, a.s. (headquartered in the Czech Republic; hereinafter "Chart Ferox"), a leading energy-related equipment company.
This order supports the efforts of Chart Ferox as a partner in the GOLIAT (Ground Operations of Liquid hydrogen Aircraft) project, a consortium of 15 European organizations led by Airbus, a leading aircraft manufacturer. The GOLIAT project aims to establish and demonstrate technologies for handling and refueling high-flow-rate liquid hydrogen for ground operations of future large commercial aircraft, contributing to the achievement of net-zero goals.
The pump will be integrated into a hydrogen refueling trailer developed by Chart Ferox and is scheduled to undergo demonstration testing in Bristol, UK.
Leveraging its deep expertise in rotating machinery and cryogenic verification and development technologies accumulated over the years, EEE will expand its business in the clean energy infrastructure field.
