The energy company of Ebara Corporation (hereinafter “Ebara”)– Ebara Elliott Energy (hereinafter “EEE”)– and Doosan Enerbility (hereinafter “Doosan”), a large heavy industry manufacturer of Korean, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly develop a new gas turbine‑driven centrifugal compressor for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market.

Under this agreement, Doosan’s large‑frame gas turbine technology will be integrated with EEE’s decades‑long expertise in rotating machinery, particularly compressors. The two companies will optimize the gas turbine and compressor as an integrated system from the initial design stage, aiming to deliver a highly efficient and reliable solution for LNG plant operators worldwide.
EEE and Doosan have already begun technical validation and have concurrently launched joint sales and marketing activities targeting LNG projects globally. The new compressor is scheduled to be commercially available in early 2028.
